Feline Hope Shelter

I am a volunteer at the marvelous Feline Hope Cat Shelter located right off Kitty Hawk Rd. For years this place has been a successful, non-profit place for homeless kitties to go without the fear of being put to sleep. The volunteer regime is amazing and these cats live better than I do!
I took the camera over this morning to take some portraits.

Snow photos!

I've been a little under the weather. But the snow has been amazing to look at from my bedroom window. I decided that I'd risk making my flu worse and go out and take some photos in the backyard. Sorry I couldn't make it to the beach, but the roads were bad and walking there would have probably been a bad idea.

One of my favorite things to look forward to in the summer is the new exhibits at Festival Parks'  Gallery. For 2011 they have some great artists including this new gem, photographer Chris Hannant.
